Thank you. this is one of the better commentaries on my video. You are right in many of your criticisms, especially about cybergoth and gothic lolita. In my defense I did not say ALL. My actual view is that the Goth subculture is an offshoot of the Romantic movement which was a reaction against the Rationalist thought of the late 18th and 19th centuries. the Romantics drew upon what they saw as the mysticism and superstition of pre -Reformation Europe which they identified with Catholicism.
