@SAAB7899 A song she obviously ignored the context and real meaning of. Which is fine...though strange....why didn't she change Argentina to Aus-tra-li-a :)

@dohaperson This is a song from a Broadway play. The words are lyrics to a song, they are not a political speech.I think she was just appreciating the words to a song.

This interpretation of D'ont Cry for Me Argentina by Olivia Newton John is the best I ever heard. Simply marvelous. And I must to say that I have seen the opera in London in 1977. Great Olivia!!

feelings she has inside? She didn't understand that every word is a lie and it's fake political rhetoric.....

I would have loved to hear Olivia Newton John and Judith Durham sing I Am Australian together.

I love Olivia and dislike Madonna, but I think Madonna is better cast as Evita Peron than Olivia. Olivia sings better, IMO.

I love this sweet version and I love Olivia and Madonna for different reasons but I have to say on this side of 2011 .....suck it up "the new word Madonna with the golden touch" was indeed MADONNA. But, "if she had been born in another place and time" ONJ might have done the trick.
Thank you so much for uploading the full version of this beautiful song by Olivia. She really should have played Evita.

I guess the same,Olivia should have done the movie Evita...and certainly she would have done it if Oliver Stone had directed it
