@bubaflex That's like saying, "I'm sure judo throws don't work, because if they did they would be used in Aikido." The thing people need to understand is that not every technique is for every situation and it's up to the master to select the correct technique for that moment in time. All martial arts have the potential to be effective, the question really is how much skill is required. Aikido is a difficult art to master, but as the saying goes, "you get what you put into it."
