  • The yellow bottle is called an aniline dye. This type of wood coloring, unlike stains, does not mask the natural grain of the wood. They are available many places like Lee Valley.

  • I wanted to prepare a surface with pummice and linseed oil, can I apply a dye on this in spite being a water based color?
