@Wireless1016 I know, right? Then the flying zombies with laser beams on their foreheads in chapter 13 really pissed off. Seriously, zombies from Jupiter's third moon coming in to destroy Tokyo was pushing the borderline enough, but *flying* zombies? Psh.

To anyone who thinks slow zombies are no big deal, focus on 0:26 onwards and crank up the volume. The zombie horde is so thick its moans are drowning out the sound of weapons fire. Now imagine being exposed to that for hours on end. I'm surprised the armor crews didn't commit suicide by cracking their skulls against the metal once the gas went dry.

You can't stop zombies, the US used basically everything in their arsenal. Remember they used A-10s, F-35s, F-15Es, F-22s, AV-8B Harriers and F-16s. Also Commanches, AH-1 Cobras, AH-6 Little Birds and AH-64D Apaches. They used Drones (MQ-1, MQ-9, RQ-1). They used M1A2 Abrams tanks. They used M2A3 IFVs, as well as AAVs, LAV-25s, Strykers, HMMWVS (with M60s, M2HBs, M240s, TOWs and Mk.19) as well as FIM-92 Stingers, Javelins, AT4, SMAWS, M79, M4A1s, M16A4s, m249s and m240s.
vs zombies. Zombies win.

where did the audio come from? Did you make it? If so than great job.

If this is what I heard over the radio while gearing up to head in, I'd start heading in the OTHER direction

I think that someone should make a movie about the, "road to New York". The beginning could be a flashback to the battle of Yonkers. Then it could flash forward to Paul Waino training for the new army, and the battle of Hope. It could fallow them all across the liberation of America. It could deal with all the problems of feral animals, feral children, LAMOE's,liberations, rebels, and disease, along with the zombies. This is what I would like to see. Audio is great though.

the best part of the book

@cleon24769 agreed, having a million targets, which only get affected from a shot to the head. It would freak out your average soldier. A living wall of flesh coming at you. Almost immune to weapons. Fearless, inexorable. It would take about a minute before everyone was panicking and lines were breaking.

Did you make tis, or is it from the audio book?

You mis spelled wood.
@cleon24769
haha, well said. I think it boils down to studio excs must think zombis need jazzing up other wise we "the moronic public" would get bored watching shuffling zombis and not watch them anymore. Or somthing. slow ones are the way, like on the excellent walking dead.

@Star12121 You know personally I believe the slow-lurching zombies would catch on with the average moviegoer spoiled on overly-cliche action flicks *if* the studio can get right the whole "psychological fear of a million near-invulnerable walking corpses slowly lurching towards you while moaning so hauntingly it gives you mid-day nightmares" thing.
