After a couple of users asked I'v finally uploaded a review of the VE278Q Asus 27'' screen. Hope this answers some of your questions, if I don't ask and I will reply ASAP.

The screen on the left is a 22" LG E2250v

Had the screen for 2 months-ish

The screen can be mounted to a wall (100mmx100mm VESA mounting capabilities)

Screen is 64cm across (25" 1/4) and 44cm (17" 1/4) from the bottom of its stand to the top of it

the camera made the screen look yellow, but that's not the case in real life! Colours are vibrant without being over saturated and the options allow for massive flexibility.

Any things you would like to know about and I haven't managed to cover please ask!

Thanks for watching!

  • @d1ean and still running strong i give u props :P

  • @d1ean Thanks again.I set the "trace free" higher and I don't notice any ghosting.

And your standard config is kinda too dark for me :D But will try the theater mode in games

  • @d1ean Oh I see,OK we'll test and report back :) thanks again

  • @MaziarAmiri Im looking at it as I type this: for sRGB on the image menu you should be getting

    sharpness

trace free (which is the one you want to change to stop streaking)

    aspect control.

Best to just use theater mode as it gives you the most options for adjusting.

  • @d1ean Thanks,will try your recommendations.

But I can't change anything for SRGB.All the settings are greyed out in the menu

  • @MaziarAmiri I use standard mode normally for every day use with contrast at 10 and brightness at 100, its enough to read text on the net comfortably. For gaming I set the screen to theater mode, colour is set to user mode (red is 100 blue is 100 green is 100) contrast is at 85, brightness i change using the quick button when i need to. ASCR on theater mode is OFF,trace free set to 30 with sharpness set to 50.

You can set "trace free" higher on sRGB if u have ghosting to stop it happening
