Monte Cassino: The Soldiers' Story tells some of the true stories of that brutal fight, told by men of both sides, who fought each other face to face in one of the most bloody engagements of the war.

  • Fallschirmjager the best soldiers of WW2..

  • both sides fucked up. you have to remember masses are manipulated into fighting each other for the Illuminati, under the pretext of patriotism. Germans were neither good or bad. Both sides were the same way. I am not taking sides here, and I come from Poland in case you think I am German.

War is sick and we all are lied to to go against each other.

  • Les polaks on pris monté-cassino quand il n'y avais plus de soldat Allemand,AMERE VICTOIRE pour les polaks

    Der fallschirmjager the best.

  • Poles done it for Poland, for free homeland, Germans for adolf hitler?

  • "Przechodniu, powiedz Polsce, żeśmy polegli wierni Jej służbie"...like Spartans...

Czy widzisz te gruzy na szczycie?.....

  • And Poles veni, vidi, vici....

  • @Obitosenpai The Fallschirmjager were incredible soldiers. And I believe it was First Parachute Division there--best of the best. The Germans had those soldiers; and the absolute best defensive positions above everything; and more troops, weaponry, and ammunition from Germany than they had requested. This was the famed Gustav line, and it was to be defended at all costs. They sure made the allies suffer a lot, but they suffered greatly as well. Glad I wasn't there.

  • @extere You're certainly right--war is a horror for people who have to fight it and the civilians nearby. Over 60,000,000 killed in WWII, and the majority were civilians. Everyone suffers except war profiteers. We have a giant MIC in the U.S.

I went to Monte Cassino in 1979 and saw the new monastery and its view of, and domination over, the entire valley. Nobody could get by. My father (U.S.) was there in 1944--Five months in hell. The Poles were very brave; I saw their cemetery.

  • I'm a brazilian german descendant. You are right. Both sides fight for your countries, those young soldiers did haven't another choice.

  • We Polish soldiers

    For our freedom and yours

Have given our souls to God

Our bodies to the soil of Italy

    And our hearts to Poland

  • From last comments it seems as Mexico now finally decided to make its move and join WWII, along with Axis. Well, better late than never I guess.

  • correcion viva alemania, fuera mexico
