One day, I even tripped in your presence and nearly fell. I was faking, of course, but still you did not hold me. Sometimes we don't do things we want to do so that others won't know we want to do them.

I love the whole idea of this movie but the dialogue was soooo bad. =( M. Night Shaylaman makes all his actors talk in such an annoying and unrealistic way. If you think about almost all the characters in his movies (Mel Gibson,Joaquin Phoenix - SIgns, Haley Joel, Bruce Willis-Sixth Sense, Mark Wahlberg-the Happening, and everyone else in this movie, the ones in Lady in the Water) - they all ACT the same!!! They never yell or get angry, but instead talk in this overly serious and dramatic way.

I wasn't too fond of the movie, but I do enjoy watching Bryce Dallas Howard as Ivy, who's generally a really likeable character and the soundtrack is fantastic!
