  • amazing..

  • @funeraldirecting naw, just hit up all the porn you want!

  • Is this something I need on my macbook pro, Its a new one... thnx

  • i just downloaded it and it wont update ne ideas y?

  • Told you, ClamXav is useless. Get iAntivirus, or, if you want to go for the commercial route, Sophos and VirusBarrier are the bests.

  • yea its funny because just today i downloaded something off some site i shouldnt have been at and i scanned it with clamxav and it didnt find anything. but something was fishy cus first of all i was downloading music but it was a dmg file and secondly the file was only .24 mb. So i decided to have virustotal scan it.(its a website that scans files with multiple av's) and it found so much crap, it found osxrsplug trojan downloader etc, its funny clamxav didnt find that stuff. i thought i was safe

  • Yeah well, he wasn't very informed in that case, apparently (like many Mac users using ClamXav thinking it will protect them). ClamXAv may be good to prevent you from sending Windows malware to Windows users (Though Clam AV has a very poor detection rate, from tests) but it doesn't really do much as far as an OS X av goes. iAntivirus is the only decent free av, apparently.

  • thanks. goddam chris pirillo tellling me to use clamxav! im not being sarcastic by the way
