The Rambo First Blood Bridge to "Portland" in Hope British Columbia

Very soon the bridge that was in the movie Rambo First Blood will be destroyed and replaced. This is Rambo fan's last chance to see the bridge. This clip was intended as a tribute to the bridge but as we got talking to the locals the message was SAVE THE BRIDGE! I am not sure if they can save the bridge or not but it sure seems like the locals will miss it a lot. The Rambo Bridge to Portland in Hope British Columbia

I hope they keep this bridge intact. I am a Rambo fan, and for me First Blood is one of the best action movie ever made, and with the nicest locations.

I'm from Barcelona, Spain and one day i hope to visit Hope. It's one of my dreams.

So please, the people who live there try to do all you can to avoid this bridge disappear. Just in the name of Rambo!

The city of Hope just passed a vote to build the new bridge. We are happy for the vote and glad Hope is growing forward. We still arewishing the bridge is saved and we are moving forward with the filming of Part 5 of save the bridge and the fight will live on.subscribe and watch for part 5

We have decided due to a petition that stoped this construction of the new bridge. There is now a referendum in place march 13th and we would like to not have any effect on the election. We will not discuss any opinions in relation to if they should build a new bridge or not. We just want them to save the old bridge for parklands and tourism use if they do build a new bridge.

What a waste of my tax dollars. OF COURSE the company doing the work doesn't want the town to keep it as a foot bridge when they are charging more than two million to take it down. I have used this bridge every day for 24 years. The only thing that causes a problem with its size is stupid drivers. Build a new bridge for the whiny bad drivers. Leave this bridge as a foot bridge. Just another bad way of spending tax money that could be better spent on other things in town.

I was there in October. I took lots of pictures of that bridge and other locations in Hope, which is just gorgeous. Hello to the very friendly people of hope. I also love the Blue Moose :)
