UNC Women's Glee Club performing Gustav Holst's rendition of Ave Maria at our 2008 fall concert. This was a really cool piece because our choir was divided into two choirs, for a total of 8 voice parts!
I sang this exact arrangement at an All Northwest Honor Choir conference in the 90's. I don't think people realize that this piece is an 8-part piece.... enough for two entire choirs to sing. What's even more impressive is that y'all pulled it off with such a small choir. The choir I was in for this piece was upwards of 150 girls. I've been in love with this arrangement since I sang it and I still am. What a gifted bunch of young women!!
@Naimafan93 yeah, my choir is singing this song for U.I.L this yeah and we have to memorize it.
