  • All this means is that the guy is being dodgy in his answers. He didnt want to admit that he hit the guy repeatedly so he says he only remembers hitting him once...as if he didnt mean to kill him. Suspects always try to downplay their involvement.

  • poor guy. i feel so bad for him. i had a cop do this to me over something i didn't do. i wouldn't wish it on anyone.

  • "If you only hit him once, maybe you handed it off to ryan...." I bet this dufus of a cop thinks he's real fucking clever. Never talk to a cop who treats you like garbage. You have every right to sit there with your mouth shut and your middle finger up.

  • I used to live in Columbia and their police should never be trusted. They are a cash cow for the university and city and all they care about is dwi's and MIP's. They were way out of their league on this one and wanted the egg off their face.

  • the police should have been skeptical from the jump

  • is the Innocence Project involved in this? If not, its the kind of case they like to work on. The misconduct involved between the judge, investigators and prosecutor is astounding. These people have no soul as its clear Ryan had nothing to do with it and even though Chuck allows himself to be tooled along, its pretty obvious he wasn't involved either. What a sick, sick, sick thing to happen in Columbia but that's how Crane always worked there.

  • Ryan is no doubt innocent but there is no point in creating a 'group' to try to free unless you have EXACT evidence the cops dont give a shit what you think. This is just the same as the WM3 thing.

  • was this kid ever evaluated mentally? This kid has a mental problem. Whatever the case is, it isn't something that is worthy of putting someone in jail for 50 years. What a shame, that people are being exonerated by dna and they totally supress all the dna here and go on the confession of some whacko kid, that has no idea of what even happened.
