  • I am an atheist, and yet I have great respect for the Amish for the dignity with which they dealt with this tragedy.

  • This is a general rule. People now interpret any form of decency as weakness.

But only the weak stop being decent on this account.

  • This news story touched both believers and non believers alike.

  • as an atheist, i think those amish are more christ-like then mainstream christians could ever even hope to be

  • MK-Ultra assassin, serving a Luciferian strategy.

  • If 20% of the world forgave like they did then this world would be a much better place.I am a Catholic that lives in the Caribbean.I thought the Amish were nutcases that didn't fancy technology but I have so much respect for your way of doing things now.All of us can learn from your example whether Atheist,Christian,Muslim,Hindu or Buddhist.

  • The Bible tells us as Christians we are suppose to be in the world but not off the world. If people don't know Jesus, they will find it hard to understand how a community can show such love and forgiveness in the face of such a terrible tragedy. These people showed the heart of Jesus to the entire world in an extraordinary way. They are an example to us all.

  • Umm... the Amish don't need money lol.

  • It's amazing how surprised some people are at their capacity to forgive others who slight them. This is what true Christians and proper human-beings do.

Some people may say they don't believe in "God" (or in whatever they view the idea of God to be), but as a wise man once said "To believe in God is to do good to man". It's what's in your heart.

  • juistice is needed

  • @ignoranceandwant It is beautiful
