At Long Island's Suffolk County Community College, students in Rob Goldman's class, Developing Creative Imagination in the Arts, created the following 'happening'
inspired by Yoko Ono's 1964 performance, "Cut Piece." Ono invited audience members to cut clothing from her body. Goldman's students invited passersby to participate in this and other activities challenging social customs and taboos regarding silence, sexuality and personal
violation.
