Ghoon / Ashura / Moharram in Mauritius

@irvinmanohar Yes Muslims believe in one God but there are different "waves", meaning slight differences in details. As for this video, this celebration is mainly celebrated by Shias. But a minority of Sunnis are also celebrating it.

@reallonerunner in islam we can't have different beliefs.....these peaple are not considered as muslim.....praying allah is our duty...these stuffs are HARRAAM.....going on dargah is also HARRAAM....read the holy Quran and Allah will show u the right path....

its totally haraam n its nt considerd as the rules of truemuslim n shariah doesnt permit this at all..In the Holy Quraan Allah(swt) says that the body given to u must return to Allah one dqy n its nt amongst the rite of a person to torture his body or doing actions zat may cause harm to himself..beside Qarballa doesnt exis in Mu, its found only @ Iraq...May Allah quide those woare on the wrong track..ameen

I am shia muslim, but I do not support this nor shedding blod with knfes and etc. This is not Islam.

If you really love Imam Hussain (as) then make Tabligh, show people what his message was about Islam, instead of showing this horrible stuff.
