if ur a beginner do a full body workout 3 times a week. if ur intermediate do a 4 day split working each muscle once a week.
remember to bulk up u need to eat a calorie surplis, calorie surplus - no bulk

You can never over work a muscle. You can ruin joints though. But 1 day of rest is enough. A full 24 hours of no activity in the muscle is enough to start losing what you gained.

what you was told is correct dont over do it or you wont get bigger it takes time but you probs know that :)

Im trying to bulk up and have been exercising each muscle group every other day.Now i have been told that it would be better if i leave 2 days between exercising each group.
What do you think??

Can I as you why you wouldn't want to use both hands at the same time? You can do alternating curls if you want to but there is no big advantage to doing alternating curls as opposed to doing both at the same time. You will fatigue your biceps faster using both arms at the same time.
