Nokia N8 Disassembly & Reassembly - Case Replacement

HOME/MENU BUTTON not working after assembly? See below..

HOME/MENU BUTTON not working after assembly:
Hold the power button down for about 10 seconds or until you feel 3 buzzes, this does a hard reset. If a hard reset doesn't work, re-installing the firmware will fix this problem as you can read in the comments for the screen repair video.
This problem does not seem to happen with the new Symbian update.

DIY repairs will void any warranty.

Is there any way to remove the infra red filter off the main camera so that the phone can be used as night vision/night shot mode?

@francoprs I didn't know it had one, if you can see your infra red TV remote control flashing by viewing through the camera then it might not have a filter..

Does anyone know how to replace the main mic in Nokia n8? I was looking at many forums but found only photos where the mic is and no instruction how to replace it. Thx

@MrMalybob It looks like it might need a 'hot air soldering station' to remove and replace it, try to find someone who uses one

I have the t6 screw driver, will it work by itself or i need t5 also?

@MsZhus You need the T5 for removing the top and bottom covers and the screen. The T6 is for the 3 screws at 3:53
