Well, if you were a former Muslim and tell people you were a Christian but didn't really mean it, and you didn't like America and feel its wrong that America is powerful and prosperous, and if you were a Fabian Socialist and was against Israel and was pro-Palestinian and pro-Muslim, then you'd probabaly appoint Muslims to national security postitions to "protect" America.

I'm not trying to change America, I'm trying to do what the founding fathers wanted, keep religion out of the government, and let it be a matter for individual citizens to choose in their personal lives. Practice your religion all you want, don't use the state to force it on others, that's all I want.

Fundie propaganda. The Treaty of Tripoli says America is not based on Christianity, many founders were deists, Jefferson rejected the divinity of Jesus and all miracles in the Bible, Franklin openly admitted he was a deist and many others held beliefs that by evangelical standards would make them not Christian. The Christian right didn't even exist until recently, please read about your subject before you make an outlandish uneducated statement like that.
