  • The EU is becoming increasingly sinister and autocratic; no wonder many moderate europhiles are starting to see the errors of their ways.

Even I was more of a moderate eurosceptic before Lisbon. Now I'm an all-out withdrawalist.

  • I shivered whenever he said Britain would be part of the eurozone. Not if i can help it thats for sure!!

  • i dont think mr verhofstadt understands that britain can default if nescessary... no eurozone member can do so at the moment

  • @metalspector we're not we just question the legitimacy and nescessity of this union.

  • Why is Britain such an arrogant nation?

  • @Highwaycrazy The EU is Bad guy in eyes of most people in europe not just Brits.

  • The European system needs to be further developped, but withdrawing and locking yourself up inside your own little country is an act that will submit you to the rule of superpowers like the USA, China etc. The only way we can protect ourselves, is by unity. As the motto of my country says: "Unity forges strength".

  • Well for one im a UKIP member and try and contribute regulary with money i can spare(towards leaflets etc). I talk with other UKIP members and point people to the sensible views of UKIP, and enlighten them about sensible economic policies and the true causes of our crisis. I even had a half hour long conversation with my doctor the other day who agreed with everything i said.

When i finsih my educaition i may even run, but until then im going to inform. Facts and common sense will prevail.
