  • Hey Scooby I noticed something after watching your beginner pull up video... Have you lost weight? Agreed it was over a year ago but it seems as if you lost a significant amount of (what little) body fat you had. I can see your abs much more clearly and notice slightly more vascular arms.

  • @baracuda771 My weight fluxuates +/- 3 pounds over the year and when you are fairly lean like I am, that little bit of weight makes a big visual difference.

  • yo, i dehydrated myself, cut calories to 1000 a day, and excerised an hour - an hour and a half for 5 days a week. I was able to cut 30 pounds (Maybe cause i was fat and lazy when I started), where as i could have done this. Well I regret nothing, but since I have 4 months for 20 or 30 more pounds, I amgoing to follow this taking it a bit more easier. It sucks cause I can't do 2 proper pushups, and not even one pullup. I guess I will follow his guides :)

  • @theory0723 Yes, if you play games over 20 minutes long.

    Anything that keeps your heart rate about 60% consistently (So not interval training) is considered Cardio.

  • @Tarek20x 60% to 80% depending on your experience and body. So probably somewhere between 110 and 140 for the average.

    How dare you ask if he knows about training thresholds! Scooby knows all!

  • @93JohnDorian Complex carbs, and if you're building, eat lots of protein. Eat some even if you're not. Avoid simple carbs/sugars and fats.

  • @93JohnDorian Try drinking chocolate milk mixed with cinnamon right after a workout, it helps burn fat and it tastes great

  • Scooby, How intense should the cardio workout be?? in terms of heart rate (if you know about training thresholds) :)
