In this tutorial I demonstrate how to prove that the set of Rational numbers is 'closed over addition'. In other words, i show that the sum of 2 rational numbers is another rational number.

there is a slight mistake at 3:00 - it should be:

a + b = (ps+rq, qs) as opposed to (p+r, q+s)

but either way the conclusion is the same because ps+qr and qs are still integers.
