Lightning Dyno

The first dyno tune after putting in the new motor. 415 rwhp 518rwtq JLP bottom end, bored .020 over, 6lb lower pulley, ported super charger, cleaned supercharger plades, CAI, Magnaflow exhaust, c&l intake plenum, Single blade throttle body, re-conditioned valves, heads milled down, injectors flow tested and cleaned, ngk tr6ix spark plugs, egr delete, pcv rerouted.

Truck is for sale 2000 miles on brand new motor. 85000 miles on the truck. Only selling because i need a work truck sadly and am unable to keep my amazing truck. $17000obo

This truck has never seen snow. Was a Florida truck up until November of 08 when I drove it to Massachusetts where it has since been stored inside a heated storage facility.

Why do you think something would be wrong? Not that there couldn't be but for a motor that was 360 crank HP stock i felt like getting to 415rwhp which is equivalent to around 500 crank hp is in the area it should be. It was still a stock blower, and I was told by the mechanic at the dyno place that porting the blower doesnt really help gain much hp. If it were a whipple supercharger and I was only making 415 whp then there would def be something wrong.

yeah man not talking any trash or anything like but it should put down bigger numbers. Im ported eaton with bolt ons and 6 lb pulley completely stock motor and made 440/520

Yeah, porting doesn't make much. Only 35hp or so. Not bad for the money it costs.

So you have a JLP forged shortblock bored .20 over and ported blower and only made 415rwhp.....something sounds wrong.
