@iamgig9876 Aircraft carriers are powerful but not invincible, a few (like 3 or 4) tomahawks cruise missiles can take one out for good. Missile like the DF-21 are satellite guided jamming is nearly impossible and even if the misses there is the range of fatality in it.

Longest range anti-ship missile in the world that can take out an Aircraft carrier with anything surrounding it 5 (apx) miles when equipped with a nuke warhead. It can attack the enemy before they could even get close to China's waters. It is that impressive to me

When the West and russia were developing their aviation or other high technologies, there was no one to copy from.. The West and Russia derived only some experience and expertise from some German/Nazi scientists and they stole from each other occasionally, but there was no one else developing those technologies for them to steal from.russia rarely got western things. And yes, China is a backward country that relies on piracy and intellectual theft to keep its export driven economy rumbling.
