I have a question....
I'm using a model imported from a game, it's ripped FROM the game, and so are it's bones (The original ones it had in game) and I had to import the bones and the model seperately.
Should I just follow the same steps as rigging a normal character in 3DS Max 2010? Or is there anything different.

Hi Screen writter,
Do you have any tutorial on how to do those graphical interface that some rigger uses on their demos. They select parts of the rigging by clicking on a window with the character picture. If you don't have one, can you make one or point me to anybody that have made a tutorial about it. I have tried to find one tutorial about this subject but cant' find any. Thank you in advance for your help and for all the videos you have post so far. Very helpful
What's the difference between regular bones rigging and biped rigging? Which one should I go with, it's really confusing. I looked alot for rigging with bones but couldn't find good info. I'm a max modeler and learning animation and rigging now. I know Maya users use regular bone rigging all the time.

@CGZee10 hi! The main difference is that biped is a prebuilt rig with pre assigned UK links. It depends mostly on the artist doing the rigging

@MONEYVAL9 Yes I do, but I can only save so much money up at a time, so I usually upgrade the core program then save up for the plugins. Doing it that way saves at least 2,000.00. However, during that time, I use the previous version of MAX with all the main plugins I use.
