Jonas Brothers Drama Chapter 17

Nick (kind of surprised to see everyone backstage): Hey guys, what are you doing here?

Joe (feeling sick to the stomach that he almost betrayed Taylor to her best friend and glad to get away from her... for a second.) : Umm... you know... just chillin'.

Taylor (all smiles, holding Joe's arm and putting her hand in his) : Oh, Julia came to see you.

* Julia felt her cheeks turn red. This was getting more and more awkward by the minute. She gave Taylor a look, but she was looking at Joe. Julia turned around to face Nick. *

Nick (surprised): Really?

Julia ( trying to make up an excuse. She didn't have the heart to talk to him anymore.) Um...well I really am a Miley fan ever since I learned she was so.... 'unpredictable' (she glanced at Joe) so I think I'll go an watch the rest of the show. And... I ... I also left my jacket on my seat, so I should go get it.

Nick (smiling): Well, I'll come with you then.

Julia (making up another excuse): Well...um... that's probably a bad idea. I mean, there's a lot of people. Um...All the fans. We already kind of experienced it with Joe.

Nick (considering): Mmh, your right. Then maybe I'll see you ar...

*But Julia had already ran off. She ran past the guard, who made no objection this time and straight to her seat. And there she started to cry. No one heard her of course because they were all singing " Hey
Get up, Get loud, Start pumpin' up the party now". But then suddenly, the song ended as Miley spoke into the microphone *

Miley (tired and sweating, but still smiling): This next song will be performed with a very special friend of mine. Please welcome on stage... NICK JONAS.

* At that point the crowd went absolutely wild. Nick ran on stage and laughed at all the girls screaming*

Nick (with the microphone): Hey guys, how are you guys doing tonight? Before we start, I'd like to thank Miley for this and the awesome song she dedicated to me earlier. I'd just like to dedicate this one to that special girl to tell her, I'm sorry and it won't happen again. I know she's in the house tonight, so here we go.

*Julia was speechless. Not that she would have said much. She was listening to Nick's voice. I was so comforting, she couldn't breathe. Everything was going through her mind. When she had met Nick at the mall, when they had been in the park, when Claire had showed up and ruined it, how she had surprised them kissing, all the anger inside her, and when Nick apologized. She was so dumb. It was the most sincere apology she had ever got from anyone. Nick's breath-taking voice came back to her.
"We all want to believe in love, We all want to believe in something, Bigger than just uusssss!" The song had ended and Julia still couldn't breath. She couldn't breathe. She arouse in panic and tried to lift her arms to reach to someone, but they stayed stiffly by her side. Her eyesight was going in and out of focus and the cheering of the crowd was now a low roar. She started to run, but she hit a chair and she fell down, down. Her head hit something hard and cold. Soon it felt wet and the screams of a couple girls managed to reach her. Then there was a voice, Nick's voice, shouting, " Julia, Julia!" Then BLACK.
