Request from Spain. This is part 1 of 2.
As usual, I'm just showing the notes and timing.

"Clair de lune" (Moonlight) is one of Claude Debussy's most popular pieces. It is the 3rd movement of his Suite Bergamasque (1890).

As usual with slow tutorials, I'm playing like a robot. Purpose is to show the notes, counting, and my fingering. For a wonderful performance, follow the link at

  • I think if the camera was off to the side a bit at an angle we could see which keys were being depressed.

  • @juicysuit believe me, I experimented w/every angle. this is the best view and many are following suit.

  • your fingering makes the song much more complex. There are much easier ways to play this correctly.

  • @joshxxt this is not my fingering. it is the editor's ;)

  • The Notes are accurate your teaching methods are good. The only thing is, is that when your playing the notes we cant see the notes you are playing. You should put the annotations on top of the keys when you edit the videos. :) Maybe that'll help.

  • @ScaryInsanity I hope you are following the score. If not, focus on the finger movement, not the keys under them. Good luck.

  • @crz95 that is equivalent to saying: those who already know the English alphabet, never need an English teacher.

  • it's annoying because I can't see what you are playing!!! grrr
