My friend wanted some video of his '99 Buell in the twisties to and from Mount Wilson in Southern Cal. His camera died on the way up so I used my Olympus camera and my special mount and chased him down the hill with my '02 750 Honda Shadow Spirit.

If you are viewing this video to get an idea what the Mount Wilson area look(ed) like, check my other (ANOKAMAN) videos, I'll get up there as soon as the area opens and do this ride again. We feared what a fire would do to this lush area and now it's happening. Previous major fires damaged the guardrails and safety railing and kept the roads closed to all but locals until the melted metal could be replaced.

Juan, I recommend you put your toes up on your pegs. You can get hurt with them down by the pavement like that. If you did, I'd volunteer to exercise the Buell, though, hehehe.

I've been tempted to get the Phantom version of your bike. But it'd be a step down in power & handling. I have a 919 now.
As to your "yellow line violation" comment. Most people don't see that in a sharp left turn, even if their tires are to the right of a yellow line, their HEAD is in the other lane.
Just sayin'.

That was a ton on fun! I envy you your 919, I have been looking at that bike for some time now. I dearly love my Shadow, I upped the front and rear tires by one size and went to a 39 from the stock 42 rear tooth sprocket. No more looking for that "overdrive gear".Thanks for looking and the comment, ride safe! J

where exactly is Mt.Wilson?

Many on-line map services will show Mount Wilson, California. Angeles Crest Highway is a great ride too but may remain closed due to recent major fires in that area. Look at my other videos and those of Fidhawser too see what that area looked like before some sick ^$@& started a fire there.
