it says in the manual of DW6 empires that these duel take place but doesnt happen?

I used to think duels were cool. Then I started playing on Chaos...
If it's supposed to be 1 on 1, then why is is that every so often, a bunch of the enemy officers standing off to the side come out of nowhere and 3-shot my arse? I avoid them on Chaos because there is a ton of risk involved.

I don't have a PS3 yet and Dynasty Warriors 6 but how do you get in a duel?

i alway tend to run away from the duel i hate having the enemy knock me back and foward lol
