Teaching keyboard typing in Childsplay 5/29/2010

Older version of Childsplay (0.85.1) has an excellent activity to teach kids keyboard characters and typing skills. Unlike many other teaching programs, the letters on screen are all capital, as they appear on the keyboard. Every word is typically a name of some animal, the picture of which appears on the screen as well. This activity is very suitable for children who are not matching yet small and capital letters. The program does not allow typing wrong letters - it rather makes a slightly irritating beep sound each time an incorrect key is pressed.
