Comparing the cutting speed of various chain types...

Just a short vid showing the small difference in cutting speed between new out of the box Full Chisel, Semi Chisel, and Chipper chain. Also shows that a well set up semi chisel chain will cut faster than out of the box full chisel chain, although has more vibration for those who care!

@kjbaert f you mean which chain is better in a milling type situation cutting slabs then semi chisel is definately the best chain.

how bout with the grain? sayin how your cutting in the video is against. ex. instead of an axe use the saw, which is better for that application?

@themadmailler I agree. I'm not into saw racing so as you're probably aware when you get dirtier wood full chisel chain is the last one you want. Thats when sharpening chains comes into it and full chisle loses out. I do get a smile when I get the chance to use wel setup full chisel in green wood though :) I mainly use semi.

nice comparison! very close, but in a competition when seconds matter, it's important.
