It's such a shame that JFK's legacy will always be linked to his assassination. People forget or overlook the achievements the man accomplished in a short period of time. Oh and for the record; Lee Oswald admired Kennedy contrary to what taht fairy tale known as the warren commission would have you believe.

The fact that it is linked with the assassination helps his legacy alot. Without it he is just a rich boy who cheated to get elected.

Connection is important, but once information can flow, the goal MUST be for NOTHING to be withheld. Otherwise there can be no trust between governments, which leads governments on destructive (to others) paths, away from the people and toward security from hypothetical threats, of which countless could exits. One only has to stress (by words, or other means) a desire to strengthen certain defenses and then sit back and enjoy the policy and political benefits.

Ironic that JFK's assassination slightly over a year later was beamed by the same satellite.
