BOOORING! Man, I think this band is rather an acquired taste and I, though I listen to Skepticism, Thergothon, and having my own Funeral Doom band, still think this band is boring. Just my humble opinion

@FieryBiscuits If you mean the more formulaic doom, I would agree this is a good contestant, even though I don't think it is that clearly the winner. If you mean all modern doom, I find "Paragon of Dissonance" a much greater musical experience.

I must say I have listened to this band since 1994 and this is the best they have ever sounded!

It's sooooo sloooow. I love doom metal that actually forces your heart rate to slow down. About 28bpm toward the end of the song.

16:29-24:21 Absolutely my favorite piece of music. I almost have cried during that part. The whole song is a masterpiece.
