@AoldmanX I think its the midlands one and it crashed into the mainland one, that's why you didn't see the "midlands" on the bbc1 logo

they have the regional centres across the country and mainstream bbc programming goes to the regional centre and then it's broadcast, so it's the regions that have the power to switch from London to themselves.

@adamlukey Umm, no, East Midlands Today is from Nottingham. Midlands Today is from Birmingham, although before 1991ish they were one big super region from Pebble Mill.
