Great example of Columbo's investigative style, along with his great comical behavior we all love as he tactfully searches for the truth while speaking with the murder suspect....just one more thing..From "Death Hits the Jackpot"

@seinfan9 I'd assumed it was a stage name, but no. It's his name. Torn is his surname and Rip is a family nickname going back generations. Who knew? I was even thinking of laughing at his accent, but he's actually from Texas. Of course, I could still laugh at the accent, but for different reasons now...

My sister just gave me the complete Columbo collection on DVD for Xmas. What an awesome gift. RIP Peter. He really made it seem as though it was Peter Falk solving those murders, not just his character. That's acting!
