  • I had a question about your jet burners... where did you get them, and why did you plug some of the tips off? Were you trying to reach a certain BTU? Can you use these burners with LP propane?

  • @wildcatvictories I got them from a resteraunt supply store, I don't remember which one. A google search should find them. I removed some of the tips via a recommendation from BobbyFromNJ because these burners put out some serious heat. Although, I think that now I am only doing 10 gallon batches, I would not plug off the tips now, just because it takes soooooo long to bring 10 gallons to a boil, but it still works fine. And yes, you can buy them for propane gas. Thanks for watching!

  • @wildcatvictories Also, if you buy these burners, they are Chinese made, and they tend to get beat up in transit. One of the first ones that I got had over half of the tips broke off, or fractured and ready to fall off. I recommend checking each of them with a wrench to make sure they are not getting ready to shear off.

  • I like this. Another component of total engagement! I imagine you won't be brewing Coopers Kits on that lovely stand??

  • @nige4958 No, no coopers kits here...I have thought about brewing one just to see how it would turn out....but that is a lot of effort for something that will probably be very inferior to what I am brewing now. All grain is sooooo addictive!!!!
