@18clp2 The idea of a Union of States included the idea of competency and morality and productivity which in turn benefits the United States as a whole. Since the Civil War, 18clp2, what has Mississippi got to offer the rest of the country? And please, don't reply "Eudora Welty" and please do not try to convince me that providing the United States with shrimp negates what happened in Mississippi after the Civil War.

lol Barbour cant defend Palin? I cant defend Barbour! If theres one thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on its that one of the worst evils in this country are lobbyists and their bullshit. Haley Barbour was once proclaimed the King of Lobbyists and was one of the most successful lobbyists ever to set foot in Washington. Of all GOP candidates hes probably the worst. Electing him would be like electing Darth Cheney.

12/22'Damage to his potential 2012 bid'? I live in the South & this guy sounds and looks like a dumb ass hayseed.This hick never stood a chance of a bid. Barbour (he prounounces it 'Bahrbore') stood as much of a chance as winning as Goober Huckabee.I know Americans are severely stupid & dumbed down from Reality Shows but Haley & Goober can't win.
