Ok to the people who are complaining about serj's voice. You guys all wanted system to return and u expect him to just scream like he use to. You have to think screaming can really screw up your voice and with a mans vocal talent like he has he dont want to screw his voice up. He sounds excellent to me and Serj will always be my favorite singer

@MrTmontona Ermm, those 3 are not screams, dude. They are death growls. And, yeah, Serj doesn't sceam anymore, except of some soft screams in the songs of their last 2 albums, like Radio/Video. But the thing in which I disagree with the guys complaining about Serj' voice, is that he lost his voice during the hiatus & his solo career. Nope that's not true, his voice was gradually getting less aggressive & more melodic through the years. Anyway, even if they lost their energy, they still rule etc.

artistically and musically when you start off their is all this angry energy and unstable but potent vitality thats inspiring what you are creating and how you are performing it but the older, wiser you get however, you find eventually that you have cathartically purged some of that out of your system but it remains nonetheless and what happens when you've matured as an artist is that you give that energy more specific form and focus.

@axeslammer You are retarded if you think Daron wasnt sloppy before! Watch any video of them live and he never plays it "right". Perfect example of this is when they played Conan O'brien!

I miss the old SOAD.... Where'd the passion go? Daron's guitar playing is sloppy as hell and Serj, with his half-ass singing, doesn't even act like he wants to be there. He's not even trying!!! They must have gotten back together for the money because the passion to play the music is obviously gone!

Definitely a brilliant comeback for system of a down. Considering they hadn't played together as a band for the most of 5 years. However I think Serj needs to work on the getting the death growl back, and Daron could do with a hair cut.
