T.E. Lawrence (Peter O'Toole) is released from Arabia by the British High Command at the end of World War I in one of the finest scenes of an already great film starring Jack Hawkins as General Allenby, Claude Rains as Mr. Dryden, Anthony Quayle as Col. Brighton, and the absolutely incredible Sir Alec Guinness as Prince Feisal.

  • @lukethegreat101 yes, this isn't actually the final scene.

  • @trje246, I think so too is I think the last scene before he goes away. Well, he did tried to get them to work together to prevent the politicians from expliting the victory eartlier.

  • 3:11, under the heading "Great Advance by American Army" it says "Ding-Dong Struggle". I have no idea what that means but I can't stop laughing at it!

  • was it to hard to add the last minute and make it the actual final scene

  • @0007Laranja0007 yes thats correct !

  • when Anthony Quayle ran after him here was he going to say "sorry" (to an effect) that he (Lawrence) had been more or less used as a political pawn?

  • @falconhead67 Sorry, fuckface, it's the penultimate scene. Go look in the dictionary if you don't know what that means.
