@SmileysRevenge100 your lucky man cuz those two songs got me hooked with SGM. i've seen them play 4 times and they always play those two. i'm sad they did not play my favorite songs. and yeah they dont really play their songs exactly the same which is what i love about them! so spontaneous. they say the funniest yet brilliant things between songs too. can't help but be mesmerized while watching them. i'm really confused why they are not really well known. they are truly a one of a kind band.

@SmileysRevenge100 a very good show. intimate and very inspiring. i was right in the front. i couldnt believe that they could fit all of their gear in such a tiny stage. i was surprised that the show was not sold out. carla and mathias has formed a new project called Now You. they played first and i was blown away. they played a song that they claim is going to be a SGM song. which confused me cuz i thought they were breaking up. maybe they are just going to stop touring but keep making music.

A noble attempt at Nil's voice but needs work. The rest of the piece is a tribute to the original however. Kudos.

@SmileysRevenge100 By the way... Did you try it?
you did an awesome job! i know trying to imitate nils voice is very difficult. i liked the alarm clock in there! i saw SGM last night at the casbah here in san diego. so awesome!

@t0psecretshit NOoOOOOOooO! Their final shows!!!!........ I'm so sad right now. There will never be another band that awesome EVER.......Unless it's a different band with all the same members. How was it? What songs did they play? Any word on their new album?

@SmileysRevenge100 they played mostly from grand opening & closing, and of naturalhistory. lets see..they played, ambugaton, 1997, donkey headed adversary of humanity.., phitisis, the stain, freedom club, cockroach, gundays child, they played some songs from the last album which i was not really familiar with cuz i dont have the cd. they played a bunch more but i dont know the title. i was disappointed they did not play a hymn to the morning star or sleep is wrong. i think they ran out of time.

@t0psecretshit I hope that's the case. I'd still like them to keep making records. I can handle them not touring anymore because I've already seen them live once. Oh yeah, they played Hymn to the Morning Star and Sleep is Wrong at the show I was at. It was pretty cool because they changed it up A LOT. I didn't even realize they were playing the Morning Star until about half way through, and Sleep is Wrong, they added a completely new song right in the middle of it during the sleep section.

not many people have heard of sleepytime. or tin hat trio. or 2 foot yard. or any side projects. suck talented musicians. such a shame they're so underappreciated. to even portray or come close to them is a fete. awesome job capturing the essence...just goes to show me and perhaps other people that talented young musicians still exist, even if it is a cover. do you like mars volta? or job for a cowboy? mogwai? tortoise? explosions in the sky? isis? horse the band is also great.

@BroughtbytheletterZ Yeah, SGM is really underground but they're one of my favorites! So''s Tin Hat Trio, Charming Hostess , Faun Fables, Idiot Flesh (The band before Sleepytime) and 2 Foot Yard. Yup, I've listened to The Mars Volta but not enough to be extremely familiar with them. Haven't heard of Job for a Cowboy or Tortoise but I now plan on looking them up. I love Mogwai, love Isis.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you liked it and it didn't make you lethargic!
