In this episode, Micky hits Lv. 20 while Edward decapitates Radmin and makes him sleep with the fishes. Once that's all said and done, Micaiah returns to camp with good news, having freed the prisoners. The Daein soldiers, ecstatic that she succeeded, see her as a beacon of hope and dub her "The Priestess of Dawn".

I just think they want a hot girl to look at, but I suppose the new name fits.

That night, as Micaiah thinks about something, Tormod comes in with troubling news: Muarim's losing his self and is turning feral! A disaster waiting to happen is averted when Rafiel comes to the rescue and sings that melodious galdr of rebirth to cure him. Thanks, Rafiel!

Later, Pelleas is informed about the Feral Ones and how badly they mess up laguz, but when Izuka lets out that he was the one responsible for giving Muarim the Feral Drug, all trust has gone out the window...except in Pelleas's case, who asks for forgiveness. Of course, no one there buys it for a second.

Seriously, why haven't we KILLED Izuka by now? I'm ready to sharpen a broadsword here...

Finally, at Sienne, the Begnion capital, we see Sanaki being informed of the Daein situation by Vice-Minister Lekain and Numida. She quickly comes to a decision to have an inspection team assembled immediately to see things through and appoints Sephiran as the leader of the team.

I think things are looking up. This ends Chapter 8.

Does Paragon work on staff EXP. If so, how about giving it to Laura? That's what I did and I managed to get her class-changed by 1-E and she ended up really good.

Also, I hate Senators. They only end up becoming corrupt and out to further themselves rather than thinking about what is best for the country, but I'm afraid that I can't fault them for cleverness.
