*Spoiler warnings mainly for the end of Book 1 and a few minor ones for Book 3

Song: Run to the Water
Artist: Live
Video: Avatar the Last Airbender

A tribute to Hakoda, Sokka and Katara. Its meant to be from Hakodas point of view to his children, telling them to have hope even though bad stuff is happening around them, and that they can always trust in him, as lame as that sounds (shifty eye). Anyways, Aang, Yue and Pakku managed to sneak in a few times, but only because the lyrics matched them.

The stupid sequence at the end was a reference to the fact that I was going to include Bato but at the end I realised he never really appeared (other than in the background). Sorry if the dialogue is too hard to read, and I know Hakoda and Bato arent that dumb, but it goes:

Hakoda: You know kids, I cant help but think we left out something or someone important. (Stares at Bato) I just cant put my finger on it.

Bato: Then it mustnt have been too important then. Honestly, wouldnt that be common sense? Sometimes I really wonder whether youre that stupid Hakoda.

Hakoda: (Looks at Sokka knowingly) He sure is.

  • Wonderful video. A great tribute to Hakoda and his children. Powerful, well put together, and with a great song choice. ^^

  • Thank you for the nice comment, I really appreciate it, I was beginning to think that no one liked my AMV.

    Yeah, Hakoda rocks ^-^

  • I wonder if Hakoda and Bato are that bright because why didn't bato short things out between Sokka Katara and Aang after Aang showed them the map to where there Father was because he sould have known there just kids and they dont know any better and He did nothing what a idiot.

  • I got the impression that they were quite intelligent when it came to war plans and fighting, don't know about anything esle though ^-^'

It does seem dumb that Bato didn't intervene with Katara, Sokka and Aang, but maybe he just didn't feel like it was his place to get involved?

But Hakoda, for one, did seem a little clueless most of the time :)

  • 2 people watching spongebob instead of avatar

  • very well put together....

  • also it was all Sokka Katara why Aang kept the map to where there father was and why Aang had the Riddicules Notion of saving the world alone in the Awakening because they leted there Anxioty get out of Control and Family isuues get in the way that it effected those around them like Aang for instince if they had handled thing diffrently then Aang wouldn't have kept the map to where there father was from them and he wouldn't have had that riddicules Notion of saving the world alone.

  • and your right Bato probley did think it wasn't his place to get involved I noticed Bato deosn't get involved in anything proble because he deosn't have his own Family

  • true like they were all raised in the middle of a war that they had other things to worry about but they forget about what really important and the fact there just kids.
