  • "We've got to pray for all

    The brothas under thine hand

    Pray for all the sistas

That's doing the best she can"

Artist today would have not said Brothas or Sistas

They would have said Niggas and Bitches instead. Black music of today have been hijacked by ignorant hoodrats and wanabe hoodrats. The Ojays had class unlike most artist of today.

  • @alwilson312 Your statement should be read out at the beginning of every school day across the USA, sothat this lost generation may get back on track.

  • @alwilson312 I like hip-hop (definitely not all of it). But I do realize how detremental it may have been to black music, or just music in general. I mean before hip-hop came along we still had people writing their own original music, playing instruments, coming up with new ideas and SINGING THEIR ASS OFF!!! Maybe one day it will get better. I hope so.

  • Yes, this is the soul or R&B arrangement. When I saw the title I was thinking of a longer disco version. Why some think the O'Jays was a disco group is still a mystery to me. Probably made no difference to them because it doubled their fan base. But how would a disco song explain that "glory hallelujah" interlude at the 2:37 mark? Great post anyway, dario "DISCO" chevy.

  • Amazing song! It's not DISCO it's SOUL ;-)
