This is a machine made entirely out of LEGO Technic pieces that braids three strands of yarn. More LEGO creations can be found at http://web.mac.com/aklego/LEGO_etc./

This machine was inspired by this fantastic creation http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=b-aj8uLDzxA

  • Dear Aklego, your Machine is highly interessting, congratulations!

I tried to build one by myself and the early design looks like yours, later i decided it would be more failsafe to use Wheels with 3 holes each instead of a vertical bar.

I used the german "Fischer Technik"-Set which faild me(no gears with grips or holes), i think ill try it again in lego.

  • you, sir, are a genius ;)
