  • @tomovox Couldn't agree more.!!

  • @singjohn It's pretty much what girls in high school wore then and I guess in college too..

  • @tomovox PS, another thing- I love how you had the country performers AND the blossoms doing backups, and then the stage filled with the Shindig Dancers and the Kingsmen and how the segment ended with everyone running across the dancers' platform and then past the camera. thanks for posting these clips!!!

  • the Shindig medley- these are some of the most amazing musical performances ever. the full-steam ahead pacing, the visual of all the performers and dancers filling the stage- no one else has ever done anything nearly as spectacular as Shindig. I love how the performances went from rock and roll to gospel before you even knew what the heck had just happened! Micki Lynn- WOW! Sing It Girl!

  • singjohn, The song was 50s style so the girls' outfits had to match.

  • No, he isn't - this is a different Willy Nelson whom I have never heard of in my whole life. Whether or not he ever became a household name with the same name as country Willie Nelson I have no idea. He's a nice looking young man and has a good voice. I love watching all the Shindig videos. Thanks a million for posting. - Paula

  • Who's idea was it to have the girls dance in those ugly baggy sweaters and skirts?

  • WOW !!! I remember this..Billy Preston.

Iam glad that i was there in that era compare with todays shit.

  • Wow! Dave Berry was a hypnotic performer.

  • Is that the Willie Nelson known as the red haired stranger??
