If the world was flat, then why do ships sink over the horizon, and why isn't it dark everywhere on Earth when the sun goes below the horizon, which would technically be under the Earth?

Yes, but I think also there is some financial conspiracy associated with a much more serious nature. If you can fool people into believing that the earth is round, you can also lure them to believe in anything. Such as buying idiotical things so that they be debt slaves for the rest of their lives. Therefore, we must reach out to these poor people so that they understand that the earth really is flat so that their manipulated condition is broken once and for all

it's completely understandable for people long ago to assume it was flat, AND if people only ever see maps, only ever see outside, and are neglected from basic knowledge, that is in todays world, then they could be considered as understandable in having their mis knowledge
