just make a particle emitter and put it at the bottom of the rockets then animate it

yeah i did it without smoothing so it could render in less time and there were also a few problems with the smoothing i never got around to fixing

Realflow 4 is a water and fire simulator for 3d max and blender it is another program that is designed to make water and fire, easy to use

just import object and add water or fire mesh and press go the settings are default and then export the mesh into 3d max or blender and render your fire/water is in the scene and looks better also file size and render time is reduced google realflow 4 for more info and prices

and no i dont work for realflow I'm just a very good 3D designer

Nice Work! I'm doing my own project with particle emitters right now and was going to use the Saturn V. One suggestion: Smooth out your mesh with the set smooth button. At least on the out side of the model, the inside, I think, had ridges.
