It's compact, super lightweight, and it throws a perfect beam. That's the Quark Mini AA Squared. It is one of the smallest two cell AA flashlights in the world. But don't let the small size and 2.8 ounces fool you. It's extremely capable and it's a world class torch. Extensive year long testing in TNP revealed this light to be tough and reliable as well. It passed multiple water testing excursions and it showed no leakage or failures, even with UI use and extended submergence. The 6000 series aluminum body is black anodized and knurled (which could be made more aggressive). A strong deep carry pocket clip stays on, doesn't rotate, and it keeps the light from rolling off the table. It's the best pocket clip I've seen on a flashlight to date. The flat tail cap allows for tailstanding illumination and the included lanyard can attach there too. Modes, brightness levels, and burn times are discussed in the vid. The Quark Mini AA2 with its LOP reflector and XP-G R5 LED throws a perfect beam: no artifacts, a perfect spill, and ideal area coverage. It is one of the best I've seen in small EDC lights. Other LED versions have been and will be issued with upgrades to the Mini AA2 but I've been very happy with the R5's performance. POUs are numberous for this size efficient light: backpacking, medical, EDC, law enforcement, home use, survival kit integration, and AWESOME gift are just a few. Value is high considering the quality, its tiny size, track record I've seen, and the included accessories. This is one of my favorite and most used EDC lights.///////////////////////////////// Nutnfancy Likability Scale: 10 out of 10//////////////// Best place to buy this light, using 'nutnfancy' discount code to SAVE 15%: http://www.firearmsprostore.com/

    good review nutn

  • @hewittdj1

    Quark RGB

  • How does this stack up against the Preon 2 in your opinion?

  • The E21 has two setting (+off). Low is around 50 lumens and high is 150. It's bigger and heavier than the Q.Mini, but for certain uses that could be better. Also, the E21 is $35. I keep one each in my car and my wife's. Replaced 20th century 2 D-cell flashlights.

  • To bad, Firearmsprostore don't ship to Norway...

  • It's always sold out! MAKE MORE 4SEVENS!!!

  • Nutnfancy, I just got my Quark mini aa2 today, I love it. But I'm in the military and was wondering if you know if 4Sevens makes an IR (Red Light) flashlight. For work, I need a red flashlight. Can't find one from4 Sevens, do they make any?

  • @kylelb 4Sevens has really good customer service. I'm sure they'll take care of it if you send it back. Good luck dude.

  • i have one problem with the light Quark Mini AA2 when i first took it out of the box i put batteries in and truned it on i had the light in medium brightness and i lightly stared shaking the light in my hand back and forth the light would jump from medium brightness to high brightness back dowm to low brightness and i put it up to my ear i heard a rattle and the rattleing was coming next to the led light so i am thinking the light is damaged.

does any one else have this problem?
