Bounce! Music by my mate Matej Susnik who's an awesome guitarist, check him out - http://www.youtube.com/user/matejsu
Gear:
Joey Jordison signature snare with Ambassador coated drumhead
Yamaha Stage custom with Remo Ebony Pinstripe tops / Ebony Ambassador bottoms
Mostly Paiste Innovations with a thick-as-a-brick Sabian AA rock crash (I use Sabian HHX but they're somewhere else)
Tama Iron Cobra double pedal
Luka Cadez signature sticks ^^,
Recorded through:
audio - Behringer C2 pair overhead mics,
AKG D190ES snare,
some cheap Behringer vocal mic on the kick (no comment)
all into Behringer Xenyx mixer (still no comment heh. One of the channel sliders turned without me noticing it, that's why the stereo image is a bit weird sorry)
video - Flip hd cam
@TimoZXR thanks Timo! That's right, it's Innovations medium. There's also a 20" Innovations heavy ride and a couple of crashes, but the crashes crack like glass everywhere so no wonder they were quickly discontinued. I'm not feeling Paiste at all tbh, these are just what I practice on. But the hihat does sound very cute and sweet in certain situations, that's why I've kept it ^^

nice song and tight drumming dude, sounds awesome!
You're using Innovations hihats? The medium or heavy ones?

@marciosousa34 thanks for the comments dude! Your mics should give you a decent result, better than mine, even. The room acoustics are important too, maybe that is your problem? I used Cubase, and some multiband compression and a plate rev. I couldn't mix separate channels tho, only master. Hope that helps

my gosh. i record my drum with good mics butt, my sounds sucks. i use a pair of samsom overheads a shure sms8 in the snare and a shure beta in the bass drum. what kind of software you use to record. BTW your snare sounds amazing
