I saw this car at the 2010 East Coast Camaro Club's car show at DeSantis Chevy in Brockton, MA. I have no idea if it is the real deal, but it appears so, other than the missing original dash, different hood and induction, or the exact paint job. It is a Ford Falcon drag car with a rare 427 cu. in. SOHC FE engine, done by Rankin Ford in London, ON Canada. Current owner is from MA. Pump up the volume and enjoy.
That should be the national anthem right there... during which making any other sound should be punished with a beating.

I saw this car at sparta dragway in 1964, I was 9 years old. I still got the picture in my garage taken with a brownie camera. The first time I saw it, it had a 289 in it. I remember it well because my brother had a 64 and my dad had a 65 Falcon

seems like its sitting a little low, is that just so that when the springs load up its a bit more squat? looks like the tires would get cut in a burnout

The Wild Child is the real deal. Actually it's the only A F/X Falcon that left a Ford factory built specifically as a F/X car. The dash was removed by Rankin Ford when the motor was set back in 1967. The hood is an ultra rare factory part numbered item original to the car. The paint and lettering is exactly the same as in 65/66. The induction was made by John McIntyre the original chief mechanic on the car.
