These comments amuse (and slightly irritate) me....
First, not everyone has weight issues because they eat like pigs, or because they eat junk...like pigs. One shouldn't ASSUME that ALL overweight comes from crap eating habits.
Second, for those who are new to yoga, it actually DOES provide quite profuse sweating, as it works all muscles in the body. In so doing, it builds those muscles, which in turn help to crank up the metabolism, aiding in a higher caloric burn.
Great job Esther :)

@yaya564 yes there are a tiny number of people with weird metabolisms or on certain medications but BASICALLY you get fat from eating more calories than you burn and you lose wieght by burning more calories than you eat
eat well and moderately, exercise -- that truly is the answer for 99% of everyone

when we are doing the half bend.. I can't do it all the way. I mean if I do my back arches a bit, is it because I'm not that flexible?

@cvgf08 Your hamstrings or lower back might be a bit tight, just bend your knees a bit to make it easier on yourself till you can do it!
